POST 6: POSTGRADUATE STUDIES
Hi today I will talk about the postgraduate studies but before thinking
about a postgraduate I would like to finish the career. I have many reasons to
study a postgraduate. The first reason is that it is necessary for my career to
specialize so as not to be left behind in the progress of studies in Social
Work. Another reason is that I love studying;
it would be a good opportunity to do a postgraduate, because I learn more about
the career.
Maybe I should do a course related to intervention practice with
children and families or ‘’vulnerable adults’’.
I would definitely study in abroad. I would like to study in the
University of Durham, it’s a British university located in the county of
Durham, and it is considered the third oldest university in the country. It is also one of the ten best universities in
the United Kingdom.
The postgraduate course that starting in early October and continuing
over 21 months. I would like to study full time in the United Kingdom. The focuses
of the postgraduate course go beyond contemporary concerns with single service
user groups. The MSW (master’s degree social work) emphasizes the connections
between local and global issues in social work. The practical experience that
the postgraduate course delivers is complemented
by opportunities for innovative practice in the voluntary and independent
sectors in areas such as family justice, homelessness, substance use, domestic
violence, sexual exploitation, community interventions and self-advocacy.
That university looks like a castle!!!!!!!
